It informed the Parish Councillors’ that they were waiting for alocal play equipment Company to give them a quote, and look at the site. Report: There have been no reported crimes for Norton Sub Hamdon during the month of December. 12/324/cDistrict Councillor:The setting of the budget for the next financial year is still in the process of being made.12/324/dCounty Councillor: A report was provided by the County Councillor. There has been an increase in fly tipping in the area due to cuts in openinghours at recycle centres'. A lot of this is happening on private land and is going unreported. Because of this, the figures areprobably understated. Accurate figures are needed to establish the need for longer opening hours. He recently had a meeting with theFootpath Officer for this area. You will now see more waymarkers which will make it easier for all to keep to the footpaths. Alsoa couple of styles have been earmarked for improvement.12/334LOCAL DEVELOPMENT FRAMEWORK:Nothing to report.12/335MEMBERS’ REPORTS:A member reported concerns of cars being parked in narrow places in both Rectory Lane and Broadmead Lane. The concern is,that if an emergency vehicle needs to get through, it wouldn’t be able to. To be monitored.A member reported a low electrical cable over the allotments. This has been reported before and Western Power Distribution hastaken a look. Clerk to report it again.Action: ClerkA member reminded the Councillors’ that there is a pruning workshop taking place on 6th February in Gross’s Wood.There being no further business the meeting closed at 9.00pmThe next meeting will be held on Monday 13th February 2012 at 7.30pm in the Reading Room.
