The original documents have not photocopied very well and would therefore not reproduce in a legible form. In addition the compilers' handwriting needs careful deciphering in places, and in fact some entries still remain a mystery. Therefore, both the 1851 & 1901 Census Returns for Norton sub Hamdon, along with the 1901 Census Return for Chiselborough, have been reworked so that they are easier to read.
The visitor should be warned that for the 1851 & 1901 Norton sub Hamdon and Little Norton returns the compiler has not entered all the addresses.
