Documents & Books
Norton sub Hamdon Local History Society have collected numerous documents & books since its creation in 1990. Some it has retained and these are available through the Society; others have been recorded and sent to the County Record Office for Somerset which is located in Taunton (the address and contact numbers for the CRO are listed below).
Below you will find access to two areas. The first lists those documents retained by the Society. The second lists those held by the CRO, Taunton.
The Society can assist you with information and copies of the documents held locally, but you will have to deal direct with the CRO for access to their records. There will be a small admin charge for providing copies of documents held by the Society.
